Registration Event on Tuesday, June 16th

A big one-day Registration Event for the 2026–2027 school year is happening 
Monday, June 16 at the Community Center behind Kankakee High School, located at 1200 W. Jeffery Street in Kankakee.
Families can stop by from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 4:00 PM–7:00 PM.

This event is for new-to-the-district students, families needing to submit documents, or anyone with questions about registration. 
Staff will be available to help ensure everything is in place for a smooth start to the school year.

Please remember to bring required registration documents, including:
-- Proof of residency (lease or mortgage documents)
-- Two additional proofs of residency (utility bill, credit card statement, etc.)
-- Parent/guardian photo ID
-- Student birth certificate(s)

Health requirements for certain grade levels will also be reviewed, 
including updated immunization records and other necessary health documentation as required by Illinois school guidelines.
